Patients and the Public

NCORP provides the opportunity for patients to participate in cancer clinical trials and cancer care delivery studies in their own communities.

This research focuses on cancer prevention; symptoms from cancer and its treatment; cancer screening; and cancer care delivery in local settings.

NCORP also addresses questions involving the more serious, prevalent cancers and cancer-related problems that unduly affect racial/ethnic minorities and other underserved populations. It is especially important to include everyone so that new information can benefit all groups.

The community impact of NCORP has been described with the words hope, access, quality, innovation and excellence, among other qualities.
